I am very happy to inform you that I've been accepted in the Class of 2007
for the full-time MBA program at
London Business School. While the words
"thank you" will always be inadequate to state my appreciation, I want to take
this opportunity to express my gratitude for your unwavering support and good
wishes throughout the MBA application process."
Thanks for all your invaluable help on my applications - I made it through to
both Cornell &
Michigan! Your help and advice was extremely crucial in this
entire process and I couldn't have done without them!
I have and would continue to recommend Admission Consultants to
many more of my friends!"
I GOT INTO
WHARTON!!! I REALLY CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!
I really couldn't have done it without. I have been telling everyone and their
brother that you are hands down, the BEST consultant in the world. Now I
have the data to back it up! I really cant thank you enough!!! Have a great
holidays!" M, New York
I take this opportunity to address you
my comments on the Admissions Consultants service.
I recently hired a one-school MBA pack. The main reason I chose you was the
quality of your work - assessed through you website, the quality of the
consultants, and your realistic but positive response to my inquire. The cost of the service was also a major factor.
From the beginning of the work through the end, everything went very well.
Mindy Oakley promptly contacted me and schedule an initial interview. This
interview opened my mind to a very important aspect about Columbia Business
School that, after explored in the essays, will be crucial to my boost my
chances at this school. After our initial telephone meeting, Mindy helped
develop an action plan that both extracted the best achievements/characteristics
to be put in the essays and helped me achieve the application deadline (the time
was very constraint and I would never meet it without Mindy's help).
One characteristics of the your service that really stood out was the essays
editing. Mindy captured my thoughts and helped me put it in concise and
appealing words. My initial draft in one essay, for example, had more than 1500
and Mindy helped me put all the important information in a 1000-word-limit
essay. In another essay, I wanted to describe a very complex situation and the
word limit was merely 500 words. Mindy succeed to understand the situation and
help me to clearly explain it.
I also liked the advices on how to prepare for the admission interview.
The service of AdmissionsConsultants far than exceed my
expectations and I definitely recommend it for other applicants."
I got a call from
Kellogg yesterday. I am in. I
couldn't have done it without your help. Thank you so much for your support and
help." S, Minnesota
I just wanted to drop a short note of thanks for your service and for setting
me up with Matt Whitaker. This past week I heard from
Stern that I had
been accepted to start in the Fall and I couldn't be more excited. I also
couldn't have done it without Matt. During the frustrating process of applying
to Business School (especially as a VERY non-traditional candidate) Matt
faithfully served as editor, mentor, and guide. He was always available to talk,
and his advice was well thought out and from experience. The aspect of his help
that stood out the most for me, however, was that Matt was emotionally invested
in my application. I could tell that he was rooting for me and wanted me to get
into Stern as much as I did. Matt is a great guy and a true asset to your very

Wharton! Well, what can I say, Kent. You have
made all the difference. I owe you guys more than I can ever repay. Thank you so
much! This means so much to me. Five star dinner and a bottle Opus One ’82,
followed by Cuban cigars the next time either of you guys are in LA!"
Attached are essays 1 and 3, they are really coming together.
It has been a long time since I have written an essay, but I am starting to
get into my groove again. Your assistance through the application process
has been invaluable."
Just received an email telling me
that I received a UCLA Anderson Fellowship Award! Made me think about our
first conversation - at the time, I wasn't even sure UCLA would accept me. Fast
forward three months and here I am with a Fellowship Award. I'm completely
speechless. Thank you so much Matt for everything! I know for a fact that your
advice and help was the difference!"
"Hi Mindy , tks so much for all your help. I just got
accepted to Wharton! I can hardly believe it!!!! I'm so excited." S,
"Dear All [Matt, Todd, and David],
We have done it. I am admitted to
Wharton and I have profusely thank all three of you for making it possible.
The quality of assistance provided by Matt has been superlative and Todd's
feed back on the mock interview just nailed it for me.
Thank you once again for helping me to realise my dream." M, India
"Thanks for all of your hard work Mark! You are the best! BTW, I
will be purchasing more app work from you soon after the Kellogg one is done for
round two. Thanks again!"
M, New York
"Just found out I'm in at
Cornell, which I am
extremely psyched about. Looks like it's down to Cornell and
choices I wouldn't have imagined at the beginning of this process. The hard work
was definitely worth it!"

– last night I got an email ACCEPTANCE from
Columbia Business School!
Thanks so much for your help. It has been absolutely invaluable. I
have one more interview – Wharton next week. Then, I just sit and wait for
the other decisions to be sent in mid-January. It's so nice to be able to
sit comfortably knowing that Columbia is my safety school! What a pleasant
The interview, in mind, went really great. I felt so much more prepared because they asked a lot of the
questions we went over. Nothing threw me off.
So great job. Thank you for the help!"

Great news! I got in to
Chicago, just found out today. Thanks for all your
help in the process, I can't imagine going it alone. Work is really going well
right now and there is so much opportunity here that my wife and I are going to
have a difficult decision to make. But a difficult decision is much better than
no decision." B, Virginia
I'm not sure why, but I just received an acceptance to
Kellogg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't frikin believe it! I just
got off the phone with admissions. I'm shaking!! Is this some big joke?
I just want to thank you Kent, for all your help...for putting up with all my
revisions and nervous chats. I would not be in this position if it weren't for
your guidance. I was told it was a unanimous decision. Thank you so much Kent!
I'm gonna go do some laps around the block right now to calm down.
I got accepted into
Kellogg! This wouldn't have happened without your help and
your well wishes for me, I am very obliged to you for everything you did to help
me out with the essays. Thank you so much for everything."
and Jeff – I hope you are both having a wonderful holiday season. Just wanted
to pass along some good news. I was ACCEPTED at
Wharton! Thanks so
much for your help. Interestingly, I received a voicemail from the Associate
Director of Admissions, who congratulated me on an exceptional application and
interview. While I realize she may do the same for all who are accepted, I
wanted to give you guys the great feedback. I am now 2 for 2 with your help!"
I just got in
Columbia!!!! Thank you sooooooooo much. I wish you could see my smile right now!!!!!!
JUST got into
UMich! I'm totally excited and I
want to let you know that w/o your help it would've been impossible."
"Dear Bonnie, I have great news. I was already offered a place

all advices you gave me."

Wanted to let you know I was accepted
to Wharton today! Additionally, I was selected to receive a $10K
Bloomberg scholarship (renewable in my second year). The Dean of Admissions
called me this morning to congratulate me on my acceptance and scholarship, and
told me, "You put together a phenomenal application, and both me and the
admissions committee were astounded at how much you have accomplished both at
work and beyond, and how eloquently you wrote and presented your goals and
ideas." Thank you again for all of your help!"

I just wanted to let you know that I found out today that I was admitted to
the Haas Evening & Weekend program starting in Fall 2005!
Thanks again for your help in the interviewing process. Based on the tips and
guidance you gave me, I had a really good interview w/ Haas!"
I would just like to take a moment to
express my appreciation for all the hard work and commitment that Jeff gave me
with regards to the application process for Wharton, Chicago and NYU. I just
received notice today that I was accepted full time to
Chicago for fall 2005. I
feel that the combination of Jeff's insight into the application process as well
as his creative ideas differentiated both my application and waitlist questions.
Jeff made sure that I hit the deadlines on a timely basis even if he only had a
few days to get the information back to me. I would recommend Jeff to anyone
applying to business school.
Also, I found the admissions consultants services experience to be very
helpful and user-friendly. Thanks for making this a smooth process.
Thanks again" S, Connecticut
"When I first signed up for your service last summer, I had no idea of
what to expect. My research was soon proven to be poor and your advice was
excellent. I hadn't set my sights on a top 10 because I really thought my lack
of blue chip experience would keep me out. Your points about your own acceptance
and your similar pre MBA background gave me the courage and hope to aim higher.
With hard work and your assistance, I'm now going to be at
Columbia this fall
and I am 100% confident I wouldn't be going there if it weren't for you. Thank
you from the very bottom of my heart."
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP ON THIS [admitted to
LBS]!!!! I am delighted."
"Hi Mindy -
Wanted to post you on the good news...I've been accepted at
received word this past Thursday)! Your insight regarding the application
process was absolutely invaluable. As a R3 applicant, you undoubtedly put me in
a much better position for success.
Thank you for all your assistance & quick turnaround
throughout." M, New York
Just wanted to share the good news
with you. I was just accepted to
Darden. Very exciting. I truly owe a lot
of thanks to you for all the help you gave me. Your insight into the whole
process and especially, tailoring the essays, was nothing short of expert."
"I enjoyed the process of
B-school application and working with you. Those essays and your comment
reminded me mistakes I made in past, weakness and strength that I have today. I
feel that I became smarter by knowing myself through those essays. By knowing
myself and reviewing what I have done, I was more able to draw my career goal
and path I need to take."
I wish you and your family a happy and healthy new year...
I hope all is well and that you had a great time during the holidays. I can
only imagine how busy you must be now with second round applications
approaching (or maybe has just passed).
I am doing well and enjoying [b-school] very much, but I
quickly realized that it is no vacation, especially the first semester was
very busy. Now we are on vacation but not really because we are getting
ready for internship interviews that are starting next week. After all those
essays I wrote about marketing I realized I still want to be on Wall St, so
my interviews are in private wealth management and asset management. The
essays you edited and brought down from 1000 words to 200 about leadership,
teamwork, failure etc are coming in very handy now....exactly the examples I
will give in the interview." S, New York
"Hi David, I wanted to get back to you on my K interview status.
I spent an hour with Matt and another with Gretchen over the weekend. Both are
terrific personalities, I feel very proud that I got a chance to work with them.
I feel well prepared and will keep you guys informed of the result."
Just wanted to let you know that I
was admitted to Kellogg MMM as well. They left me a message late last night at
work, so I didn't get the good news until today.
Anyways, I just wanted to keep you posted, I'm not sure how I'm so lucky to
get into two really great schools!"
"David, thank you so much for encouraging me to apply to
business school this year. I'm going to
Chicago!!! I remember that many
consultants told me to apply next year because I didn't have a chance. I'm still
in disbelief. Matt is great and I owe him big time! I would have never
considered a top 10 school if I did not work with Matt. Thanks so much and keep
up the good work."
"Hi Jeff. Know what I got into
Columbia EMBA already!! Thanks again for your hard work!"
I had a mock interview with you over a week ago. I just wanted
to send you a list of the questions (approx in this order) I remember from my
HBS invite. ... After the interview, I came out feeling great. Regardless of the
results, your interview tips were definitely helpful and put me in a much better
position for the interview. Thanks!"
M, New York
"Finding your service was clearly the best thing that could have
happened to me! Your insight into the decision making process of the top MBA
admissions committees was invaluable. I really appreciated the quick responses
to all my inquiries and your patience and understanding. The essays could not
have looked nearly as good without your help and the mock interviews were
incredibly useful. There is no way I would have gotten into
without your help!! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!"

"Guys [Mark, Matt O, Matt W, and Cindy], I just finished my
Kellogg interview and my impression is that I did very well. I definitely
connected with the interviewer. I have to say that I definitely would not have
performed as well, if I hadn't gone through your mock interviews and received
your insightful feedback. I was able to successfully incorporate your
suggestions on structure and content."

First of all, I would like to share the good news arrived from

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for your help!!!!!!!!
Now for the difficult part, truly deciding where to go."

Finally, all the work put in writing essays paid off.
I am excited !!!
Thanks for all your help. Chicago's essays are of such nature that the
applicants tend to get satisfied about their essays when they write it for the
first time, even if what is written is entirely way off from what is required.
You were great in highlighting those points and that helped a lot.
"Hello Bonnie. I'm pleased to tell you that I've been admitted
to Fuqua! I got the news yesterday. It's certainly very rewarding after
all the effort put in this process. I'm very happy and feel relaxed now. I'm
also thankful for your help throughout the process; it was a lot of hard work."
A, North Carolina
"I just got the call. I'm in at
Tuck!!!! Thanks you so much for all your
help. I'm thinking of taking the day off and getting rip roaringly drunk in
celebration! What a relief!"
Thank you for assisting me in my
application and interview process for the business schools. I am delighted to
let you know that I have been accepted in
MIT Sloan Fellows program,
and Tepper school of Business at CMU. Honestly, I was not expecting such a
favorable result from all these business schools. However, the combination of
good essays, well prepared interviews and my academic and professional
background seem to have influenced the result. Thanks to you Kent for making me
realize how important it is to think harder to write a good essay. Thanks to
Angie for her effective, elegant and precise observations and feedback on my
mock interviews. Both of you have contributed to my success and I will continue
to use this learning throughout my career.
Again, Thank you both and best wishes."
Chicago! Got the call this morning! I
would like to thank you for all the advice and the patience in dealing with my
ways over the applications process. I will e-mail you when I get to Chicago and
my door is open to any future students who are clients of AdmissionsConsultants
trying to gain admission to the GSB. I thank you for all your time and effort. I
will keep in touch."
I got into
Wharton! My first
choice! I can't believe it; this was the last school I ever thought I'd get
into! You're the man! And I'm the man! I'm soooo
there! Hey I can't thank you enough for all you've helped me with. I wouldn't
have gotten anywhere without you. Thanks so so much!
Kellogg is the last one left;
I haven't heard from them yet. I doubt I'd take it over Wharton even if I did
get it, so I'm pretty set already. Oh this is good stuff! You are the best!"
I just wanted to
pass along my most sincere and heartfelt thanks to you for your help over the
past two weeks.
First your quick
turn-around time on my Wharton essays was amazing, but moreover, the
suggestions to my Kellogg application were even better.
I just submitted the Kellogg application, and there is no way I could have done it without you. I might have been
able to submit, but I cannot say thanks enough for taking the drafts I sent
you and turning them into useable essays.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. All the best."
T, New York
"Hi David, I recently completed and submitted my Wharton
application. I've been working with Matt Whitaker. I'm sure you already know
this, but I want to tell you myself that it's been great working with Matt. He
helped me to submit the best application I could. He's been an asset to me in
this process. He is sharp, skilled, thoughtful, patient, and sincere. He's a
highly effective consultant. Thank you for pairing me up with him."

Not only I was admitted to both schools, but also I won the IMD scholarship.
I also learned a lot from your advises, and my English skills improved during
this period. There is no doubt that I realized with you a very high return on
I really appreciated your professionalism, and your availability.
I had applied to Yale, UNC and Texas. I have an acceptance at the
school of my choice UNC, an interview at Texas and I am waiting on Yale.
I really am grateful for all the advice and the services that you gave. I am
especially thankful that you assigned Bonnie Sofarelli to work with me. Thank
you very much indeed."

Now, I know that I'm going to b-school vs. not going to b-school. Thank you
for your guidance and assistance. I'm sure I wouldn't have made it without your
insight." R, Maine
I really wanted to thank you for all your help.
You have been a valuable resource to seek advise and help on my essays. Also
your turnaround period was very impressive specially dealing with the short
deadlines that I had set. Thanks a lot for your help. You also really helped
me to polish my essays which might be one of the reasons I got through.
Thanks for all your help again." S, New
"Hi Matt, I just want to drop you a quick note and wish you and your family a happy
holiday season. I also have some good news on the application front.
Wharton accepted me
today. And yesterday, I was invited to interview with HBS. It is amazing what
a difference a year makes, and I know that your help on my essays was a big part
of it!" W, Colorado
"I still can't believe I got into all 3 EMBA programs I applied
to. The strategic advice was priceless and the help you provided in cleaning up
my essays and preparing me for the exact questions I was asked in my interviews
is unbelievable. You have a top-notch service."
I'm one of your satisfied clients that
bought your B-school service. I have been working with Jeff the last three
months and yesterday I was accepted at
Kelley. I also got into two other schools
that we targeted and the jury is still out on two more. It was a pleasure
working with Jeff and I wanted to let you know how great he was for me during
this whole process.
Once again, thanks so much and I will certainly recommend your company to any
friend or business associate that is looking into applying to B-school."
"Mark, Wow that was a quick turnaround. If I end up getting into
one of these schools, I feel like I should take you with me! No really, your
help thus far has been tremendous."
M, New York
me a $30,000 merit scholarship. Thank you again for all of your assistance."
I received the news of my acceptance at
the Sloan program and I am absolutely thrilled about it ever since!! Matt was
truly brilliant in his role of admission consultant; his support was key in
getting the best out my career. I would compare that to the way Socrates was
said to help "deliver" or "give birth" to people's minds through discussions.
Matt does that in the utmost intelligent and professional way with applicants'
paths and stories. In one word, I feel very lucky to have worked with him!"
Great news...I found out this
morning that I got into Wharton. I am very excited. I find out about
Harvard on Jan 19. Hopefully, I will have a decision to make. Regardless, this
news is going to make this Christmas much more stress free. I hope you are doing
well. Have a great Holiday."
"I very much appreciated Matt's genuine
efforts. He did not behave as a hired hand but as someone that took a real
interest in my applications."
great Jeff. It has been a privilege to work with you too and you should know
that the direction and comments you have provided have been tremendously helpful
in creating a product that I am happy with."
B, New York
"The value you
added to my essays was incredible. I still can't believe you made them look so
good considering there were no extraordinary topics in my background!"
L, New York
I cannot thank you enough for your help. I got the news on
Monday. It took them [Ivey] less than 2 weeks! I take it as a good sign for the
other schools..." D, Oregon
