The Official Guide to the MCAT Exam Buy this book from Amazon.com

It's always hard for us to go against an official guide, i.e. one written by the test's developers.

5 New MCAT Practice Tests by Gold Standard Team

5 new mcat practice tests Buy this book from Amazon.com

Are you looking for additional practice tests to augment the official ones? This is the best unofficial practice material we have come across!

10th Edition Examkrackers MCAT Complete Study Package by Jonathan Orsay

ExamKrackers: Complete MCAT Study Package Buy this 5-volume set from Amazon.com

Our most up-to-date information on the MCAT comes from clients who have recently taken the test – and we continue to hear overwhelmingly positive feedback from them on the usefulness of the Examkrackers books. This complete study package is now already in its second revision for the revised 2015 MCAT.

The Gold Standard Complete Review by Gold Standard Team

If you're looking to self study, we believe this is a great comprehensive option. It smartly includes the Official Guide to the MCAT as well as 5 additional high-quality practice tests.

Kaplan MCAT Complete 7-Book Subject Review: Online + Book by Kaplan

MCAT Prep Course Buy this from Amazon.com

If you're a fan of the Kaplan approach, then we strongly recommend this comprehensive third-edition MCAT guide.

Gold Standard New MCAT BIO: Biology and Biochemistry by the Gold Standard Team

mcat biology Buy this book from Amazon.com

Primary author Brett Ferdinand knows the MCAT about as well as anyone alive and we know firsthand how much pride he puts into his books. We expect this book will get good reviews from our website visitors and clients and we appreciate his integrity in not rushing a comprehensive MCAT book to market and instead choosing to go more slowly so he "gets it right."

10th Edition Examkrackers MCAT Physics by Jonathan Orsay

Buy this book from Amazon.com

Now in its tenth edition, this MCAT physics guide has wowed many of our applicants over the years.

MCAT Psychology and Sociology: Strategy and Practice by Bryan Schnedeker

MCAT Psychology and Sociology Buy this book from Amazon.com

Early reviews on this Next Step Test Prep guide are promising. We've followed NSTP for years and watched how they thoughtfully and skillfully moved into MCAT preparation something many test prep companies try not to do, sticking instead to "easier" tests such as the SAT, ACT, GRE, LSAT and GMAT. We are, admittedly, doing a bit of extrapolation here, but probably not much more than we do for new editions of other books that, time after time, live up to the expectations set by their predecessors.

McGraw-Hill Education 500 Review Questions for the MCAT: Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry by John Moore and Richard Langley

mcat org chem Buy this book from Amazon.com

Organic chemistry tends to frustrate a lot of MCAT test takers (see Should Organic Chemistry Be a Requirement for Med School? for more on this) and this book does a good job of breaking down the information covered in your undergrad class that is most likely to appear on the exam.
