There is no shortage of federal investigations into the college admissions scandals. This time, a federal grand jury is investigating the admissions scandal at Harvard involving the fencing coach.
It seems embattled head fencing coach Peter Brand now has more to worry about than simply Harvard’s internal investigation. As we previously reported, Brand sold his house for approximately twice its reported value. Wait for it. The buyer’s son received a fencing scholarship to Harvard shortly thereafter on a fencing scholarship.
We’ll say it again. Every coach at the selective colleges should be searching for documentation on every recruit who didn’t live up to expectations.
