Harvard University saw its yield rise to nearly 83% for the Class of 2023. For comparison purposes, the esteemed university yielded 81.7% of its admits for the Class of 2022. We’ve seen one demographic turn down Harvard offers with any consistency. That group is West Coast students who also gain admission to Stanford. Between its reputation, aura, generous financial aid packages and personal outreach to new admits, it’s easy to see why the yield is so high.
The unfortunate downside in this news? Waitlisted applicants are now even less likely to gain admission.
