A Note on PSAT/NMSQT Books
The PSAT, or PSAT/NMSQT (Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test) is jointly owned by the College Board and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. It is normally administered to high school sophomores and juniors although younger students are sometimes invited to sit for it. The two main advantages to taking the PSAT are the practice and exposure for the SAT as well as the opportunity to earn scholarship money.
We do encourage students to take this test seriously and consider it a headstart on the SAT.
