In Admissions Statistics

An amended state budget bill introduced on Friday would see UC Berkeley, UCLA, and UC San Diego all reduce the number of out-of-state and international applicants admitted. The result would be more in-state applicants admitted to these three top public universities. Additionally, the entire UC system would admit 6,230 additional applicants each year beginning next year in 2022. This is great news for California applicants and may help alleviate some of the outrage currently being felt in light of the Chinese high school allegations.
