In Admissions Statistics

The University of Southern California received over 67,000 applications for its Class of 2023. This year, the acceptance rate fell to 11%. For historic perspective, the acceptance rate was in the mid 40% in the late 1990s. Two years ago, it was 16%. And last year it dropped to a then record low of 13%.

Depending on how USC handles the current college admissions scandal, it could see a single-digit acceptance rate as early as next year. Consequently, that selectivity signal could help further propel USC in the national college rankings.
