Most of the public comments submitted to the ABA surrounding its proposed diversity training mandate for law school students were opposed to the proposal. The critics’ main arguments are that the ABA should not be dictating law school curricula and that the proposal is too vague. Anyone considering law school should be aware that training in “bias, racism and cross-cultural competency” could be coming soon although most applicants have probably already had similar instruction in undergraduate.
