Former FBI Director James Comey is returning to Columbia Law School this January. Comey previously taught at Columbia’s law school before his appointment as FBI Director by the Obama administration in 2013.

Comey’s official title will be “leader-in-residence” at Columbias Reuben Mark Initiative for Organizational Character and Leadership. He will teach a seminar called “Lawyers and Leaders.”

Columbia released a press statement explaining, “Comey’s experience represents a broadening of the Mark Initiative’s focus to include leadership of major public institutions, complementing existing offerings relating to corporations and law firms.”
