We say it every year, but we’ll repeat it because we understand our blog readers churn nearly every year. Please, please, please weigh fit far more heavily than ranking when selecting your law school. Rankings can, and do, change. There’s a nearly 50% chance the school you attend will be ranked lower when you graduate than when you mailed in that nonrefundable deposit check. You will put yourself in the best position to succeed where you are the most happy and content too.

Yale, Stanford, Harvard, Columbia, and University of Chicago were the top five schools. Columbia jumped one spot from number five last year to a tie with University of Chicago at number four.
