In Business School Selection, GMAT

The University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business announced it is offering test waivers for the 2022-2023 application cycle. Furthermore, it indicated it may very well continue with this policy beyond this current admission season. The pendulum certainly has swung against standardized tests and it may be behind the decision of Sangeet Chowfla, the CEO and president of the GMAC, to step down after nine years at the helm. GMAT tests declined 48% between 2018 and 2022 and there is no clear rebound path for the test on the horizon. The major changes the GMAC heralded two winters ago do not appear to have had much market impact.
