Do B-School Applicants Still Write Thank You Notes?
“Are you freaking kidding me? It’s 2019. Who still writes thank-you notes? Are there even any emoticons designed for those things?” (That’s our creative license. Thankfully, no one has stated it quite that way.)
The answer is, yes, MBA applicants should still send thank-you notes. A well-written note will never harm your candidacy. It’s a near certainty the interview evaluation will be completed before the thank-you note is received. Nonetheless, on the off chance you are later waitlisted, that note will be in your file and will help signal your sincere interest in that business school.
