Kellogg Announces New STEM Major
Kellogg announced it is establishing a new Management Science major in 2020. The new STEM-designated major will be noted on transcripts as a major if students take at least four classes in this field. And, to be perfectly clear, Kellogg students are not required to declare a major in order to graduate.
In the blog announcement, Kellogg mentioned classes such as Social Dynamics & Network Analysis to Making Business Decisions with Big Data. The business school also noted that the major could help foreign students stay in the US for up to 3 years after graduation because the Management Science major qualifies as a STEM-designated field of study.
