Well that didn’t take long. After blogging about a gloomy outlook just three, short weeks ago, the GMAC is reporting that, according to its most recent survey, recruiters expect to return to pre-pandemic hiring levels this coming year. Perhaps there is something behind the talk about an economic recovery underway.
Of particular note, 90% of the recruiters surveyed by the GMAC (see link above) expect to hire MBA graduates this year. And, of considerable relief to the Class of 2021, only 8% are still expecting to rescind job offers. Clearly, we wish that 8% figure was 0%, but this likely exceeded all expectations up until very recently.
