NYU Stern just announced a new online Master of Science in Quantitative Management Program (MSQM). Certainly, early-career candidates without undergraduate business degrees are the target market for the MSQM. The program consists of 22 courses taken over 20 months. Courses will cover traditional MBA subjects like leadership, marketing, business strategy and finance. Additionally, business analytics courses such as R Programming for Data and Data Mining and Predictive Analytics are also included.

Kim Corfman, Vice Dean for Online Learning, stated, “We assessed the competencies that give graduates of our MBA programs a measurable advantage in the marketplace. We set out to develop an online program that delivers those high-demand skills with our MS in Quantitative Management. Our newest offering is ideal for non-business majors who seek knowledge, credentials and the flexibility of an online degree at this crucial stage in their career development.”

The entire course, notwithstanding two short visits to NYU Stern’s Greenwich Village campus, will be online. Subsequently, the inaugural class will begin this August. The MSQM has two application deadline rounds: March 15 and May 15. As always, please don’t hesitate to call us if you want to discuss your potential fit with this or any other degree program!
