In MCAT

We wanted to follow up on our earlier blog about whether med schools will waive the MCAT with a note about a growing group called Students for Ethical Admissions. It’s a grassroots group of over 80 current applicants.

In the group’s own words, “We aren’t an anti-standardized testing group by any means. Most of us have actually already taken the MCAT and are working on secondaries now! But, we are anti-standardized testing during a pandemic when the test owner is actively telling people to avoid gathering in groups.”

SEA has launched a #WaivetheMCAT campaign on Twitter and they also published a list of medical schools that are waiving the MCAT this year.
