In MCAT

The University of Minnesota Medical School has made the MCAT optional for all applicants for the 2020-2021 application cycle. This applies to both the Twin Cities and Duluth campuses. The decision was made based on the accessibility problems created by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Obviously, whether this will be strictly temporary or part of a movement to permanently eliminate the MCAT remains to be seen.
