Heike has a JD from Valparaiso University. After spending a brief period of time in private practice, Heike returned to Valparaiso as the Assistant Dean of Admissions. After 4 years, she was hired as the Associate Director of Admissions at University of Chicago Law School and eventually served as the Assistant Dean of Financial Aid. While at Chicago, Heike reviewed thousands of law school applications and interviewed hundreds of candidates. Heike has literally made thousands of accept, reject, and waitlist decisions for both Chicago and Valparaiso over the course of her career.
